The Italian Job

12 June 06
Headquartered out of Rome, film agency Blue Star Movies are developing their presence in London. After a successful Cannes Film Festival, they are on track to fulfil their business plans.

However, at such a critical time, they have lost many precious days work from Broadband problems. With Good Oaks now on hand to apply our 14 years I.T. experience to any technical issue, they are free to concentrate on their business. Blue Star are now having a highly scalable, reliable network, files stored on a backed up server, email access from anywhere and wireless connectivity throughout their building. Increasing sales from a Customer Relations Management system is next on the cards…

Helping the helpdesk

19 May 06
With over 800 computer users, Young and Rubicam in London are using Good Oaks to analyze helpdesk data and highlight areas requiring improvements. Most corporate support functions have all this useful information and never use it to proactively improve their services. This is a service which we believe to increase over the next few years to benefit all.

Serious computing for serious business

29 March 06
If you don’t know any different, you become content with whatever you have. Grosvenor Contracts London were used to an office reliant upon email yet suffering from days of Internet outages, a PC which only started in ‘Safe Mode’ and a paper-based invoicing system.

Like a technological whirlwind, Good Oaks have come to the rescue, putting in a proper broadband router, introducing Sage Line 50 for faster invoicing and a general PC upgrade. They are now flying with an environment which is properly servicing their business. The Internet has been up ever since.

Smooth transition, everybody happy

14 February 06
Replacing an aging system which everyone likes with a modern successor is a challenge. As a computer consultancy in the modern age, we must understand how people actually incorporate existing systems into their workplace.

We are doing this for the dozens of departments at travel agent Trailfinders, who can now manage and share contact information like never before within their Lotus Notes environment. Good Oaks are currently migrating legacy shared calendars and external contacts, then training users to squeeze every beneficial drop from this feature-rich, secure and reliable environment.

Oak Tree's wandering the West End

26 Sep 05
If you enter a West End office over the next few months, you may notice a lovely, young Oak Tree sapling cheering up the environment.

This is the calling card of our 2005 Quarter 4 campaign to develop our client network in London's West End, primarily searching for small businesses reliant on their computers with nobody to turn to when computer problems arise.

Even if you already have computer support, they probably sell you hardware and software, so how do you know if it's the best thing for your needs? How do you know it's the best price? That's where we can compliment your existing support service. We don't sell any equipment, therefore all our advice is totally unbiased.

Finally, if you have a computer helpdesk, could their performance be enhanced? Good Oaks 'Computer Support Performance' service will analyse your support data with the ultimate goal of making your computer helpdesk solve problems faster and smarter.

"How do I get an Oak Tree?" I hear you ask, no problem. Call Good Oaks on 07808 903 666, answer a few questions and we'll drop your Oak Tree sapling into you.
